Have a good trip : Yoko Yamasaki

Hello Bernie and all American penpals.

Bernie, your note got the cheerful scene of the State Fair of Minnesota pictured to me, and carried the good smell of grilling food, too. I recalled the agricultural fair of Connecticut to my mind.

Oh yes, the U.S.A. is not only an industrial country advanced in the universe exploration and computer development, but also an agricultural country. Anyway, the note on the State Fair was very enjoyable..

By the way, Bernie, I envy you going to Italy. I am sure Italy would become your favorite country because of good food, cheerful people living in the historical spots, many valuable works of art, and so on.

But, in Vatican City, be extra careful of a woman holding a child in her arms. I spent four days in Vatican City, and two times my husband and myself were persistently followed by a woman with her hands carefully hidden from view by holding a baby. I happened to see a shouting sightseer for the accuse of stealing.

Besides, in Rome, I faced fearful experiences, so much so that I couldn't fall into sleep. My husband was frightened at my excessive fears, and changed the hotel accordingly.

Time has changed those bad memories to pleasant ones, and now I hope to revisit attractive Italy again.

Bernie, have a lot of fun in the trip.

While Bernie is on a trip, I look forward to having mails from other penpals. Bye now. Yoko.
