Hot summer in Sendai: Reiko Sasaki

Hello, Jane, Jean, Fran and Bernie. This is Reiko Sasaki.
Last time, I joined here with a topic of the typhoon. In Sendai, we have had continuous hot days over 86 F (30 C) for more than 10 days, and in some neighborhood towns, their temperatures reportedly went over 100 F.

I am a 50 year old housewife, and live merrily with my husband and two daughters. Jean says she visited Japan in 1977 and viewed some Kabuki performances (A highly-stylized traditional Japanese play with singing and dancing) in Tokyo.

I am a confirmed fan of Kabuki, and frequently viewed Kabuki in those times since I was unmarried.
Jean does not say what play of Kabuki she viewed, but I am happy to know we enjoyed the Kabuki performances played by the same actors famous in those days.

Nowadays, young Kabuki actors born after those times are playing the active roles in Kabuki. So, I am eager to enjoy the Kabuki performance again in the near future.

Jane, are you still staying in Texas ? I feel like you are one of our group member, since you started to use a computer last year at the same time I first got a computer. As a beginer, I have developed my computer skill depending upon many knowledgeable members of our group.

My learning way is to ask immediately what I cannot understand and to make sure acturely by using a computer what I think I understood. This challenging and curious attitude has put me in the communication exchange project here now.

Looking at the Hira-san's map, I wish the health of all penpals in the U.S. Sincerely, Reiko Sasaki.
