"Salon Wai Wai ISHINAZAKA" - The experimental project to form a Japanese model Senior Center

Please come to "Wai Wai" ! "Wai Wai" is the salon where you can use it as you like. About 2300 people have visited "Wai Wai" and have used it in a variety of ways since October, 1997.

We feel grateful if the users of this salon can feel "free" while they use it, and that would be our biggest profit from it.

You can use "Wai Wai" for cultural courses, lectures, meetings, studying, personal computer class, chorus practice, making fishing rods and anything else you may be interested in. We are also organaizing volunteers to manage the salon.

"Wai Wai" has another name, "the experimental project to form a Japanese model Senior Center". "Senior Center" is a system which has develped especially in the U.S. Many seniors in the U.S. are going to senior centers frequently and making the most of them like a "master of using time". The fact that many of these seniors are doing volunteer work helps support the management of the senior centers in the U.S.

" I have a place to go, and there are people who I want to see." We hope to make our aged society to feel this way. However, we don't need a base where only the aged would gather. Our aim is to make "Wai Wai" a senior center where we can provide information for the aged, and also make it a place to meet new friends and have a good time together.
